Fifty firefighters and rescue personnel were on the scene with five trucks, an ambulance and fire police. The Dix Hills and Huntington Manor FD's assisted at the scene, with the East Farmingdale and Plainview FD's and Huntington Community First Aid Squad providing standby coverage during the alarm.
