Dix Hills Crash Injures Two

The Dix Hills Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a car that overturned into the woods on Vanderbilt Parkway between Red Oak Court and Village Hill Drive, Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 9:28 pm. The four occupants were able to exit the car prior to the arrival of emergency personnel. Two of the occupants were transported to Huntington Hospital with non-life threatening injuries by the Dix Hills Rescue Squad. Three heavy rescue trucks, three ambulances, paramedic and first responder units were dispatched, under the direction of Chief Alan Berkowitz and Assistant Chiefs Joe Williamson, Brett Tepe and Scott DiPino.
