Saturday, September 28 2019 at 10:54 AM Huntington Community First Aid Squad (HCFAS) was dispatched to a call for an active maternity with imminent delivery. An ambulance and two First Responders were sent to the location to find a woman having contractions with her third pregnancy. The patient was moved to the ambulance and transported to Huntington Hospital. After registrating the patient the crew was instructed to bring the patient upstairs to Labor and Delivery. As they neared the elevator the patient started active delivery and proceeded to deliver a baby boy in the hallway. Hospital clinical staff met the crew, new mom and baby back in the ER.
