Town Of Huntington Inaugural Ceremony To Take Place On January 6, 2020
The Town of Huntington will hold its 2020 Inaugural Ceremony for the swearing-in of Eugene Cook, Councilman, third 4-year term; Joan Cergol, Councilwoman, first 4-year term; Andrew P. Raia, Town Clerk, first 4-year term; and Jillian Guthman, Receiver of Taxes, first 4-year term, on Monday, January 6, 2020 at 7:00 PM at Huntington High School, 188 Oakwood Road, Huntington.

New York State Senator John J. Flanagan will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the evening. Administering the Oaths of Office are Hon. Daniel Martin, Acting New York State Supreme Court Justice, Retired (Councilman Eugene Cook); New York State Senator James F. Gaughran (Councilwoman Joan Cergol); Town Clerk Jo-Ann Raia (Town Clerk Andrew Raia); and Reverend Larry Washington, Evergreen Baptist Church (Receiver of Taxes Jillian Guthman).
Musical performances include those by the Huntington High School Honor String Quartet Ensemble, the Huntington High School Brass Ensemble, and the Huntington Men’s Chorus. Refreshments will be served from donations by Cirella’s Restaurant, Copenhagen Bakery, Northport Deli, Dix Hills Diner, Mr. Sausage, Dunkin Donuts, Panera Bread and Sweet Mama’s.
