Lupinacci Reserves Parking Lot for Visitors Paying Taxes, Reminds Residents They Can Avoid Lines
Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci is reserving a portion of the municipal parking lot at Huntington Town Hall for people making tax payments and is reminding residents how to avoid long lines.
“We are expecting higher numbers than usual due to the tax warrants being delayed by the county this year, so are doing what we can to improve traffic flow and make the process easier for residents,” said Supervisor Chad A. Lupinacci. “It should be noted that if you want to avoid long lines, you can pay your tax bill online or by phone.”
The entire municipal parking lot at Town Hall may be used by visitors who arrive at Town Hall to pay taxes but the small portion of the lot adjacent to Irwin Place will be marked as reserved for those paying taxes. All residents may enter or exit the lot from Irwin Place or Jackson Avenue.
