The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office has created a Coronavirus Information Page on its website. This page is a clearinghouse of information compiled from such sources as the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the New York State Department of Health, the Suffolk County Department of Health Services, and more. It includes preventative measures, how to get tested for COVID-19, current coronavirus-related scams, and other topics.
“It is important for residents to have information regarding prevention, essential services, and government directives to prepare for daily life. The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office will compile as much information as possible into one location to meet the needs of Suffolk County residents,” said Sheriff Errol D. Toulon, Jr.
To access the Coronavirus Information Page, visit www.SuffolkSheriff.com and click on the “Coronavirus Public Information” button in the center of the home page. Up-to-date information regarding Sheriff’s Office Bureaus and the Correctional Facilities can be found at the Sheriff’s Office website as well.
