SUFFOLK COVID-19 CASE UPDATE – April 14, 2020, 2:00 p.m.

Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 through 2:00 p.m. on April 14, 2020

  • 52,376 COVID-19 tests have been administered
  • 9 percent of those tested were confirmed positive for COVID-19
  • 22,691 confirmed cases, up 744 from April 13
  • Town breakdown can be found 
  • 1,608 patients are hospitalized, up 13 from April 13
  • 531 of hospitalized patients are in the intensive care unit (ICU), a decrease of 8 patients from April 13
  • 608 individuals have died, up 40 from April 13
  • There are presently 3,379 hospital beds and 749 ICU beds in Suffolk County.
  • In the last 24 hours, 108 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospital
