Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the shooting death of a man that occurred in Huntington Station.
Suffolk County Police Second Precinct officers responded to a 911 call reporting a man was shot in front of 328 Depot Road at Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 6:18 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found Nicholas Ehrmann on the ground with a gunshot wound.
Ehrmann, 38, of 15 Brompton Place, Huntington Station, was transported to Huntington Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
UPDATE:
Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives arrested Joshua Taylor for the shooting death of Nicholas Ehrmann on August 22.
Homicide Squad detectives charged Taylor, 19, of 203 Elwood Road in East Northport, with Murder 2nd Degree. He will be held overnight at the Second Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip.
