Huntington Chamber Presents

“30 Seconds to Success”

Effective Techniques Which Build Lasting Relationships

The Education Committee of the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce is proud to be hosting their next event on Wednesday, March 13th at Mac’s Steakhouse, 12 Gerard St, Huntington from  8 – 10 am.  The seminar, titled “30 Seconds to Success,” will provide innovative techniques to build valuable and mutually beneficial business relationships in any forum.  It is designed for those who would like to learn how to put their “best foot forward” and stand out from the crowd.   In today’s fast paced world, perfecting the art of making a positive impression in the first 30 seconds of meeting someone can make a significant difference and can lead to successful business and personal relationships.  Business etiquette, eye contact, body language and what you wear all contribute to the YOU that everyone will see.  This workshop will give you great ideas and tips for personal and professional interaction in all types of settings.

Among the many topics to be discussed will be:

  • Your First Impression Is A Lasting Impression
  • How You Start A Conversation
  • Build A Relationship-Make A Connection
  • Communication Is Key
  • You Only Get Out Of It What You Put In

This informative panel includes Joe Maddalone–Power Strategies; Jim Werner, Halliday Financial; Gina Sansivero, Relampit and Scott Martella, Suffolk County Representative Office of the Governor Hon. Andrew Cuomo who will share their expertise and answer questions from the audience.  The moderator will be Jim McGowan from Adelphi University.

“This session presents an excellent opportunity for our Chamber members and local business professionals to learn important tips for effective networking techniques.  We are excited that as a committee we can provide successful seminars for our members as one of our many Chamber benefits.” states Larry Kushnick, Chamber Vice-Chairman.
