Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who burglarized Critic’s Choice Deli in Huntington this month.
A man smashed the front door glass of the Delicatessen, located at 1153A Jericho Turnpike, on June 4, 2014 at approximately 11:10 p.m. Once inside, the man stole money from the cash registers.
A witness observed the man fleeing in a dark colored Nissan Murano with one black rim on the front passenger side, possibly a spare tire. The suspect fled southbound on Deer Park Avenue from Jericho Turnpike.
The suspect is described as a heavyset black male, balding, with a goatee.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.

Wow! Desperate times. This deli butts right up to the 2nd precinct and is located right on Jericho Tpke. No one saw them smash the front window in? Maybe the police were too busy at Town Hall taking care of the “real” criminals like Daniel Karpen. Disgraceful!
