Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci recently sponsored a Hurricane and Emergency Preparedness Program at the Harborfields Public Library in Greenlawn. Joining the assemblyman were representatives from the Suffolk County Office of Emergency Management (OEM), who provided residents with tips on how to prepare for future natural disasters and answered any questions or concerns.
“This was a critical event for communities and residents to learn how to preemptively prepare for a natural disaster and to respond in the most efficient manner when it hits,” said Lupinacci. “The County Office of Emergency Management was a great help and provided people with very informative information for preparing for a disaster. I want to thank the Suffolk County OEM for their tireless efforts on behalf of our community and for their willingness to work with local partners to ensure the safety of our families.”
