Motorcyclist Seriously Injured At Broadway & Aster St., Greenlawn

Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a motorcyclist last night June 20, 2017.  

James Neary was operating a 2002 Yamaha motorcycle southbound on Broadway when he struck a 2011 Hyundai, driven by Daniel Stebbins at approximately 10:35 p.m. Stebbins was travelling northbound on Broadway attempting to make a left turn onto Aster Street. 

Neary, 52, of East Northport was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore by the Greenlawn Fire Department with a serious compound leg fracture and a broken wrist. Stebbins, 21, of Greenlawn was not injured.
