911 call to Suffolk county police last night July 1, 2017 at around 10pm was received and police call went out to patrols in the area as “GREENLAWN, NY (SUFFOLK) *SHOOTING* BROOKLYN AVE IAO LANTERN ST. PERSON SHOT IN SERIOUS COND. 2 PERPS FLED. REQ K9. RESCUE ON A RUSH”.
According to Assistant Commissioner Justin Meyers – “Suffolk County Police detectives are investigating an incident in Greenlawn where a man was shot Saturday night. Police responded to a 911 call of a man shot on Brooklyn Avenue at approximately 10:08 p.m. The victim was transported to Huntington Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is continuing.”
So per the call to patrol cars the victim was in serous condition and the police are looking for 2 men who fled the scene.
