Three Injured in Dix Hills Crash

The Dix Hills Fire Department and Suffolk Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Wolf Hill Road and Caledonia Road on Saturday night, August 19, 2017, at about 8:30 p.m. Three people suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Huntington Hospital by Dix Hills Rescue Squad ambulances. Five others involved declined medical assistance. Dix Hills firefighters applied an absorbent to the road for a fuel spill and secured both vehicles. Two ambulances, an engine, first responder and paramedic units were dispatched and under the direction of Chief Tom Napolitano.
