The Melville Fire Department and Suffolk Police responded to a two-car crash on Old Country Road near Meadowdale Drive on Friday, Sept. 1, 2017 at about 8:35 p.m. Two adults and one teenager sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Plainview hospital by the Melville Rescue Squad.
Upon Police investigation at the scene Assistant Police Commissioner Justin Meyers Stated the following:
“Suffolk County Police arrested a California man for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash in Melville. David Graziani was driving a 2015 Lincoln and was involved in a motor vehicle crash at Old Country Road and New York Avenue on September 1, at approximately 8:30 p.m. There were no serious injuries. Graziani, 41, of Pasadena, California, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.”
Melville firefighters and rescue personnel were the scene with two ambulances, heavy rescue truck and paramedic unit, under the direction of Assistant Chiefs Chris Nolan and David Kaplan.
