Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Second Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the man who stole medications valued at more than a thousand dollars from a Greenlawn store on July 31st, 2018.
On July 31 at approximately 8:30 p.m., a man entered CVS, located at 89 Broadway, and stole assorted antihistamines and medications worth over $1,300. The suspect filled a Styrofoam cooler with the merchandise, concealed the cooler within the store and left. He returned a short time later, dumped the contents of the cooler into a large shopping bag and left the store without paying for the merchandise. The suspect was described as a black male who was wearing a black baseball cap, a white t-shirt, black pants and black and white sneakers. He used a cane to walk, wore a back support brace and had sunglasses attached to a cord around his neck.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
