Sheldon Leftenant has been identified as the man who was arrested for shooting a Second Precinct police officer in
Huntington Station last night. Leftenant, 22, of 7 Tippin Drive, Huntington Station, was charged with Attempted Aggravated Murder and Resisting Arrest. He is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip today.
