The 35th annual Great Cow Harbor  10-Kilometer Run will kick off at 8:30am from the Laurel Avenue School in  Northport on Saturday, September 15. The run will finish at the waterfront park  at the foot of Main Street, Northport. Last year, over 5,600 participated in the  10K run, the 2K race and the 2K Fun Run/Walk. 25,000 spectators enjoyed the  activities. Again this year, the event will support the Special  Olympics, the Northport Food Pantry and the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical  Center through the American Legion.
