For over 50 years, The Northport Community Band has been delighting Northport residents and music lovers from all over Long Island. For five Thursday nights in July, the band performs at the Robert W. Krueger Bandstand in Northport Village Park, overlooking scenic Northport Harbor. LIsteners can sit on blankets or lawn chairs in front of the bandstand, or even enjoy music from their boats. The band’s musicians are volunteers from all walks of life and include local students, teachers and professional musicians.
