2,101 Huntingtonians Still Without Power!

As of 1:23pm today there are 2,101 Huntingtonians without power. Elwood and South Huntington now lead the way respectively with 366 and 368 missing power. The Town administration wants you to call the 24 hour hotline to tell them you still do not have power so they can let LIPA know, the number is 631-351-3234.

Governor Cuomo said ” the response of the power company was not good enough”. This comes from our Governor who on Wednesday inspected the upstate region in the Catskills, known to many Huntingtonians, that does not have electric and where thousands have lost their homes to incredible rains and flooding. Some houses are 1/2 mile from where they once stood!
