The Noli Eileen which provided many memories for fishing enthusiasts in the Huntington area sank on it’s mooring in Huntington Harbor.  It is presumed that the boat sank sometime on July 5th.  According to a Town Public Safety Officer near the scene, the Noli Eileen has been moored at the present location for the past few years and not operating.  As the attached photographs show, booms have been placed around the boat to ensure that any oil or other fluids that are leaking on the vessel be contained.  At this time no one seems to know how the boat sank.  Views of the old Charter Boat may be seen from West Shore Road and Anoatok Drive, in Huntington.
