Frank Petrone for directing Ken Lindahl to send around a very detailed letter reminding folks that their lawn signs may be confiscated if they don’t follow the letter of the law regarding political signs. We find this ironic especially during an election season where the lack of code enforcement in our town is a hot button issue. It is out of touch and arrogant to be unaware that most people would find this use of code enforcement personnel outrageous.
The first award is here.
One resident took some video of a Town of Huntington Public Safety vehicle with what appears to be only Republican campaign Signs in the back. We have heard that they, in addition, are removing signs from private property.
Since our cries to deal with the important issues go unheard by Mr. Petrone, we decided to put them in the form of signs and maybe, just maybe, they will get some attention. After they finish the vital task of removing all of the incorrectly placed political lawn signs, maybe they can be assigned to address some of these other “less important” issues:

It’s amazing how Susan Berland’s signs are immune from being removed.
