Visit Tropical Smoothie Cafe & Help The Blue Devil Crew Program

Make sure to stop by Tropical Smoothie Café on Wall Street in Huntington village on Thursday (Oct. 20) between 3-8 p.m. and help out the Huntington High School crew program.

The Blue Devils will receive 20 percent of the proceeds generated by customers presenting a special flyer available on the Huntington School District’s website at www.hufsd.edu. Halloween costumes for young children and pre-teens will also be on sale with funds going to support the crew team.

Huntington crew is a Long Island and state power with a sterling national reputation. Organizers of the fundraiser are hoping that community members will turnout at their convenience at any time during the five-hour fundraising period. Participants can order anything they want off the menu and assist the crew program’s efforts. All they have to do is present the event flyer.

Flyers are available by logging onto the Huntington School District website at www.hufsd.edu. Click on the “Athletics” link and then on “Forms & Files” to view and/or download the document.

Funds generated by the event will be put to good use. Crew coaches and parents work hard to maintain the program’s equipment and keep the Blue Devils among the nation’s elite teams.
