Last year, an estimated 5,000 people packed Huntington Village for the parade. This year’s parade promises to be even more spectacular, with floats from 35 to 40 participants, including Fire Departments, community groups and businesses. There will be horse-drawn cart rides, hot chocolate and cookies, and Santa and Mrs. Claus. Prizes will be given for the best floats and store decorations.
DATE: Saturday, November 26, 2011
TIME: Parade kicks off at 6:30 p.m.
Treelighting will occur between 8 and 8:30 p.m.
PLACE: Parade begins at New York Avenue and Holdsworth Place
Parade ends at Main Street and West Neck Road
Reviewing stand is at Main and Wall Streets
Tree lighting will be from reviewing stand
Santa Claus will be at Wall and Gerard Streets
