DIX HILLS FIRE DEPARTMENT INTRODUCES NEW CHIEF FOR 2014
William Stio introduced as new department chief
On Saturday, Assemblymen Chad Lupinacci (R,C,WF,I-Huntington Station) and Andrew Raia (R,I,C-East Northport) joined members of the Dix Hills Fire Department for the 2014 Officers Installation Dinner. During the ceremony, new Chief William Stio was installed along with the full slate of officers for 2014.
“The Dix Hills Fire Department provides exemplary services for our residents when they need it most,” said Lupinacci. “The men and women of the department are testaments to loyalty, dedication and service. I want to wish Chief Stio and all the members of the department a safe year.”
“Chief William Stio is exactly the person that the Dix Hills Fire Department, and the people of Long Island need,” said Raia. “I have the utmost respect for these individuals who put their lives on the line every time they answer a call, they are far braver than me.”
