The police are asking for the Public’s help. A vintage 1971 Camaro was stolen from a property in Huntington Station. 2nd Squad Detectives need your help to identify and locate the person or person’s who stole a vintage car from a home in Huntington Station.
Sometime between November 17 and December 1 a lock was broken on a detached garage at a home on West 10th Street in Huntington Station and a 1971 (see picture below) Camaro was stolen. The vehicle is classic white Camaro with two blue racing stripes down the middle. Police have not given a value of the car, but the crime is grand larceny. According to Classiccars.com, depending on the options, this cars value should be between $25,000 to $45,000 and it depends on what motor/transmission package is in the car.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
