Suffolk County Police today arrested three teens who were found in possession of a package that had been stolen from in front of a Huntington
Station home.
Second Precinct Police Officer Thomas Perillo responded to the area of Evergreen Avenue after a 911 caller reported observing teenagers stealing a package from in front of a home. Following a canvass of the area, Officer Perillo located three teenagers in the area of Lenox Road and Maplewood Road in possession of a package that had been stolen from a home on Depot Road.
Jeffrey Granados, 17, of 478 Depot Road, and two 13-year-old males were charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th Degree. Granados will appear in First District Court in Central Islip at a later date. The 13 year olds will appear in Suffolk County Family Court at a later date.
Police are asking nearby residents to contact the Second Precinct Crime Section at 631-854-8226 if they have had packages stolen.
