Bellone Declares State of Emergency for Suffolk County

Suffolk County SealSuffolk County Executive Steve Bellone declared a State of Emergency for Suffolk County as of 12:30 p.m.

Suffolk County’s emergency operations center opened at 7:00 a.m. this morning and will continue to be open throughout the duration of the storm.

In the event of an emergency, residents are advised to call 911. For non-emergencies, meaning that immediate police dispatch or fire or ambulance services are not required, residents are asked to contact the Suffolk County Fire Rescue Emergency Services’ (FRES) Office of Emergency Management at 631-852-4900.

Suffolk County residents can report a power outage to PSEG by dialing 1-800-490-0075.
