Police Apprehend Robbery Suspect in West Hills

Police chased and apprehended a robbery suspect in the Sweet Hollow Road and Chichester Road area of West Hills/South Huntington on Thursday February 5th.  At 9:23 am the police received a call about a robbery in progress on Chichester Road. The Suffolk County Police chased the suspect Michael Krayenvenger 42, who is homeless, in a foot pursuit down Hartmann Hill road at approximately, 10:00 am and caught up with him in a residential yard.  He was arrested for trespass, possession of burglary tools and resisting arrest.

Michael Krayenvenger was also charged with burglary in the 3rd degree for items he had taken out of the house on Chichester Road.
