The Huntington Republican Committee is now accepting applications for the 2015 scholarship program. All Huntington residents graduating from any local, regional, public or private high school may apply for a $250 Award if they are planning to attend a 4-year college/university, 2-year college, or a vocational/technical school.

To qualify for a scholarship, the student must live within the Town of Huntington and meet the following basic criteria:

• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• Registered to vote (if eligible)

• Description of civic/community activities

• One letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor

We are excited to launch this program in our continued support of the local community. The Republican Party in Huntington remains a strong and vibrant voice for principled education reform, and we believe that maintaining a world-class system of primary and secondary education is critically important to the future prosperity of our community.

All application materials must be submitted or postmarked by March 3, 2015.
