It’s expected to be bitter cold tonight – it’s advisable to increase your thermostat to 70 degrees to prevent pipes from freezing. In addition turn faucets on a little overnight to keep water flowing.
Also protect your pipes on outside walls for example in a kitchen it helps to open cabinet doors to let the warm air in.
Many incidents of pipes bursting have occurred with these freezing temperatures.
We hope you, your family and your home weather the freezing temperatures well!
