Suffolk County Police 1On June 13, 2015, the Suffolk County Department of Civil Service is offering an entrance examination for the position of Police Officer. This exam is offered once every four years.

To assist efforts with attracting qualified candidates, the Police Department is offering informational seminars to explain the process of becoming a Suffolk County Police Officer. Representatives from the Suffolk County Police recruitment unit, applicant investigation unit, and Civil Service will be in attendance.
