Second Precinct officer’s responded to a pedestrian stuck on Pulaski Road and Fairground in Huntington Station this afternoon. A man, 34, of Huntington Station, was crossing Pulaski Road against the light when he was struck by a vehicle that could not swerve out of the way at 1 p.m. The pedestrian was transported to Huntington Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to Jim McGoldrick a community member, “there were 3 calls today about that corner, I have been on the phones with the police, town hall and I think my next call is the FBI. I can’t seem to get all involved to do their jobs.”  Jim McGoldrick also stated that there was an unconscious person at Caldwell street and Depot road. In addition to this accident there was another unconscious person in the parking lot of Community Market. Community members stated they are trying to get the town and police to step up.

  1. That intersection is infested with illegals that run through the streets or zip around on bikes.
