Dump Truck Overturns in Melville Mishap

The Melville Fire Department responded to an accident involving an overturned dump truck at the Rason Asphalt Plant on Spagnoli Road at around 12 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1. The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries and was transported to the Nassau University Medical Center by the Melville Rescue Squad. Two ambulances, a heavy rescue truck and paramedic unit were dispatched, under the command of Second Assistant Chief Paul Mahler.
