Centerport Woman Arrested for DWI with Daughter in Vehicle

On Thursday, April 2, 2015 at approximately 6 p.m., Suffolk County Police arrested a Centerport woman for driving while intoxicated with her 11-year-old daughter in her vehicle.

A witness called to report that the driver of a 2014 Volkswagen Passat was drunk in the parking lot of 200 Larkfield Road, East Northport.  Second Precinct officers responded and determined that Jamie Wieser, 45, of Johnson Street, was under the influence of alcohol.

Wieser was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Passenger 15-Years-Old or Younger (Leandra’s Law) and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Wieser will be held at the Fourth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on April 3.
