In the spirit of pairing film with food and in keeping with the tradition of our sold-out “Big Night Event”, the Cinema Arts Centre is excited to present an evening with actor Danny Aiello, director Bob Giraldi and the Butera family for a night of film, food, and lively conversation featuring a screening of “Dinner Rush” starring Danny Aiello, John Corbett (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) and Sandra Bernhard, followed by a tasting of the film’s featured dishes from Butera’s Restaurant, paired with wine from Bottles and Cases, on Sunday, April 26 at 5 pm at Cinema Arts Centre, 423 Park Ave., Huntington, NY. 631-423-7611.

Things are really heating up at New York’s hottest restaurant. Owner and bookie Louis Cropa (Danny Aiello) lost a friend to a mob hit and now his chef’s gambling problem has brought the unwelcome mobsters into his restaurant. With an all-star cast including John Corbett (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) and Sandra Bernhard, Dinner Rush serves up surprises at every table. It’s sure to be a night to remember!

Whether it’s music videos, films, commercials, education or restaurants, Bob Giraldi’s distinctive influence is immediately felt in all his projects. He has produced and directed over 4,000 unique visual masterpieces, including his recent short film written by Pete Hamill “A Poet Long Ago” and “A Conversational Place”, many legendary music videos including Michael Jackson’s “Beat It”, Pat Benetar’s “Love is a Battlefield”, Lionel Richie’s “Hello” and Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson’s “ Say, Say, Say” along with feature films. Bob has taught at the School of Visual Arts for a collective 23 years, where he serves as Chair of the MPS Directing Program.
