Chapin Rainbow Stage Performance:“The Gizmo Guys” – Performing as the Gizmo Guys, Allan Jacobs and Barrett Felker have amazed and amused audiences around the world. They’ve made numerous television appearances, won international juggling competitions, and taught at top circus schools, but what makes their act so appealing is their uniquely winning combination of dazzling technique and infectious humor. The Gizmo Guys’ rapid-fire act exhilarates and inspires sidesplitting laughter.  The Gizmo Guys’ humor reaches audiences of all ages—from toddlers to great-grandparents. Presented by the Huntington Arts Council.

Chapin Rainbow Stage Performance: “Shinnecock American Indian Dancers” – Three adult singers and dancers in full powwow style regalia, plus up to four youth dancers, will perform a 45 minute dance presentation to include a welcoming song and dance; traditional & fancy dress dances for women and men; a Round Dance (or Friendship Dance) and a Snake Dance that both involve audience participation.  The troupe will also have on view nearby interactive games, hands-on cultural materials and promotional material from the Shinnecock Nation Cultural Center and Museum.  Presented by the Huntington Arts Council.  Sponsored by Astoria Bank.

Chapin Rainbow Stage Performance:“Historic Children’s Parade & Tulip Festival Hat Contest” –  Shinnecock American Indian Dancers will lead our re-enactment of the annual children’s parade that followed the 1920 dedication of Heckscher Park, which will include a new “Tulip Festival Hat Contest” for children and adults.  Just join the parade wearing your creative headgear to enter!  Parade will leave from and return to the Stage audience area. (Parents:  Please accompany your child in the parade.  The Town cannot assume responsibility for your child.)

Chapin Rainbow Stage Performance:“Paul Helou” –  An award-winning songwriter, actor and journalist, Paul Helou performs a blend of bluegrass, Americana, roots and folk music for children that are high-energy, interactive events with quality original songs. His multi-award-winning CD Bears, Bees & Butterflies has been praised by Parents’ Choice, iParenting Media, Independent Music Awards, Children’s Music Web, International Songwriting Contest, Unisong Contest. Paul is a musician, songwriter, theatrical improviser and actor who has performed in venues across the country.  Presented by the Huntington Arts Council.
