Northport Man Dies in Single-Car Crash

Gregory Kelly was driving a 2013 Honda Civic southbound on Old Commack Road, just south of Old Northport Road in Commack on Monday, May 11, 2015, when he apparently lost control of the car and struck a tree at 7 a.m. Kelly, 42, of Northport, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Suffolk County detectives are investigating the crash. Anyone with information about this crash is asked to call the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
