Woman Arrested in Huntington Village for DWI/Drugs After Hitting Cars and Leaving Scene

Barbara Lamantia, 58, of Huntington Station was arrested for DWI/Drugs and numerous Leaving the Scene of an Accident after she hit several cars in Huntington at approximately 2 p.m. on July 1, 2015.

Lamantia was observed driving erratically as she barreled down the road hitting cars in her path.  Cars were pulling over to avoid the Lamantia.

Police received several 911 calls and finally caught up with Lamantia at East Carver and New York Avenue in Huntington where she was finally arrested. She was taken to Huntington Hospital.

The investigation is continuing.
