Volunteers from the Huntington Manor Fire Department and Huntington Community First Aid Squad responded to a two-car accident on West Jericho Turnpike and Oakwood Road in Huntington Station on Monday, July 20, at about 3:30 p.m.
Huntington Manor firefighters were on the scene with an engine and a heavy rescue truck, under the command of Chief Frank McQuade. Three injured patients were transported to Huntington Hospital by Huntington Community ambulances. Firefighters secured both vehicles and applied an absorbent for a fuel spill.
