Yappy Hour To Save Homeless Animals

Long Island’s legendary Garden City Hotel and Long Island’s first humane society, Little Shelter Animal Rescue and Adoption Center, collaborated on its first Yappy Hour fundraiser last evening.The event was held on the Patio Bar, located on the beautifully landscaped grounds of this opulent hotel.  It featured wine, courtesy of Vinofiamma, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment, and most importantly, four of Little Shelter’s canine “representatives.” A wonderful time was had by all.We would like to thank the Garden City Hotel for its lovely venue, Ferrari-Maserati of Long Island and 1-800-FLOWERS, who sponsored this event, and of course, all of the attendees, media and volunteers who came out to celebrate with us in support of Little Shelter.

Little Shelter Animal Rescue and Adoption Center is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter nestled on six wooded acres in Huntington, Long Island. Little Shelter has been dedicated to saving abandoned dogs and cats and placing them into loving homes since 1927.
