SCPD to Conduct ShotSpotter Calibration in Huntington

The Suffolk County Police Department will conduct a ShotSpotter calibration in the towns of Huntington Station, Amityville and Wyandanch on August 10.

Blank rounds will be used to perform the calibration between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Uniformed police officers will be present during the procedure. The public should not be alarmed if they hear the gunshots.
