Woman Seriously Injured in Motor Vehicle Crash in East Northport

Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a crash which seriously injured a woman in East Northport on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at approximately 6:50 p.m.

Shannon Hanly was driving a 2004 Jeep northbound on Larkfield Road, south of Zoranne Drive, when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a utility pole.

Hanly, 28, of Massapequa, was transported to Southside Hospital by Commack Ambulance where she was admitted in serious condition.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
