Melville FD Responds to Overturned Jeep Crash  

The Melville Fire Department and Suffolk Police responded to a crash on Wintergreen Drive, Saturday, September 19, 2015, at around 10 a.m. The driver of a new Jeep escaped serious injury after it struck a tree and overturned onto its side. The Melville FD Rescue Squad transported the young woman to Huntington Hospital for treatment. Under the direction of Assistant Chief Paul Mahler, an ambulance, first responder, paramedic and fire police units were dispatched.
