Suffolk Community College Employee Arrested for Secretly Videotaping a Student

On Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 2:30 p.m., Suffolk County Police arrested a Suffolk County Community College employee who secretly videotaped a student at the campus in Brentwood.

David Marchese, a custodian, was sitting at a table during an awards ceremony held at the Grant Campus when he was observed by a witness holding his phone under the table at 2:30 p.m. The phone was pointed at a female student who was also sitting at the table. The witness notified security and police were called.

An investigation by Third Squad detectives determined that Marchese had videotaped the female’s undergarments.

Marchese, 32, of Islip, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Surveillance 2nd Degree. He will be held overnight at the Third Precinct for arraignment tomorrow at First District Court in Central Islip.
