Teens From Greenlawn and East Northport Arrested Causing $10,000 Damage to Northport Soccer Complex

Suffolk County Police today arrested four teens for damaging soccer fields in Northport earlier this month.

Following an investigation by Second Squad detectives, four people were arrested for driving a vehicle on soccer fields at the Northport Soccer Complex, located on Eaton’s Neck Road, sometime between September 11 at 9 p.m. and September 12 at 7 a.m. The estimated damage was $10,000.

The following people were arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, a D felony:

• Nicholas Collins, 17, of  Greenlawn
• Eric Lamay, 17, of  Greenlawn
• Michael Plackis, 17, of  East Northport
• Julius Dimino, 17, of  East Northport

They were scheduled to be arraigned yesterday at First District Court in Central Islip.
