Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives have arrested a man who robbed a gas station in Commack last night as well as several other businesses throughout Huntington during the last two months.
Shaun Mcneice, 29, of Stan Haven Place in East Northport, robbed a Shell gas station, located at 444 Commack Road, and fled the scene on a bicycle at approximately 7:35 p.m. There were no injuries to employees at the gas station. A short time later, detectives located Mcneice on Stan Haven Place and West Haven Drive where he was found in possession of the proceeds from the robbery along with a skull mask and a loaded handgun.
The other robberies occurred at the following locations on the stated dates and times:
Mcneice was charged with seven counts of Robbery 1st Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest. He is being held at the Second Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on October 11.
