East Northport Man Arrested for Armed Robbery Pattern Crimes

Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives have arrested a man who robbed a gas station in Commack last night as well as several other businesses throughout Huntington during the last two months.

Shaun Mcneice, 29, of Stan Haven Place in East Northport, robbed a Shell gas station, located at 444 Commack Road, and fled the scene on a bicycle at approximately 7:35 p.m. There were no injuries to employees at the gas station. A short time later, detectives located Mcneice on Stan Haven Place and West Haven Drive where he was found in possession of the proceeds from the robbery along with a skull mask and a loaded handgun.

The other robberies occurred at the following locations on the stated dates and times:

• Finnians Pub, located at 1976 Jericho Turnpike, Elwood, on October 5 at approximately 10:45 p.m.
• Speedway, located at 5087 Jericho Turnpike, Commack, on October 4 at approximately 4:45 a.m.
• 7-Eleven, located at 6230 Jericho Turnpike, Commack, on October 2 at approximately 12:40 a.m.
• 7-Eleven, located at 3041 Jericho Turnpike, East Northport, on September 30 at approximately 12:15 a.m.
• 7-Eleven, located at 3041 Jericho Turnpike, East Northport, on September 24 at approximately 12 a.m.
• 7-Eleven, located at 3041 Jericho Turnpike, East Northport, on September 12 at approximately 11 p.m.

Mcneice was charged with seven counts of Robbery 1^st Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2^nd Degree and Resisting Arrest. He is being held at the Second Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on October 11.
