Commack’s Commended Students in the 2016 National Merit Scholarship Program

Commack High School is proud to announce that 16 students have been named Commended Students in the 2016 National Merit Scholarship Program. Framed Letters of Commendation were presented to these scholastically talented seniors.

Commended students placed among the top five percent of the more than 1.5 million students who entered to 2016 competition by taking the 2014 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

Commack’s Director of Guidance, Jonathan Macaluso, stated, “These students have a high potential for future academic success, and we are proud of their accomplishments on this test and in the classroom.”
