On the last weekend of November at Little Shelter Animal Rescue, the semi-annual Mercedes-Benz fall raffle was held. With tickets selling until the last day, one ticket out of an available 600 tickets, would be the number to win a new Mercedes-Benz or $25,000. The drawing was held at Littler Shelter’s location in Huntington.
President of Little Shelter, Maryann Chernovsky, was present at the event to give thanks to all those who participated and purchased tickets. Each ticket was $100 and all proceeds went to helping the animals at Little Shelter Animal Rescue.
Ellen O’Brien, Executive Director of the Huntington Chamber of Commerce was there to do the drawing, and announced the winning ticket number 300. Our lucky winner was Elizabeth of Plainview. “We are always so excited for our winners when we do this raffle,” said Little Shelter Director David Ceely. “This raffle was exceptionally exciting, since one of our hard working volunteers was the lucky winner.” Director David Ceely accompanied by Reanne Citera, presented Elizabeth with the check for $25,000.
The entire staff of Little Shelter Animal Rescue would like to congratulate Elizabeth and to thank everyone for purchasing tickets for the raffle.
