Man Arrested for 2015 Burglary in Huntington Station

Suffolk County Police arrested a man on February 5th, 2016 at approximately 3:30pm for a burglary he committed at a residence in Huntington Station in October, 2015.

An unknown male unlawfully entered a residence in Huntington Station on October 3, 2015 at approximately 7:40 p.m. The man was discovered by a homeowner who was inside. A struggle ensued

and the intruder stated he had a handgun, before fleeing the scene.

Following an investigation by Second Squad detectives, DNA evidence recovered was linked to Scott Lundquist. Lundquist, 59, of  W. 14^th Street, Huntington Station, was arrested today at approximately 3:30 p.m. He was charged with Burglary 1^st Degree, Assault 3^rd Degree, and Resisting Arrest. He is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on February 6, 2016.

The investigation is continuing.
